Ogun Senator Solomon Adeola Mourns Veteran Actor Taiwo Hassan Ogogo

Ogun West Senator and APC governorship candidate Solomon Adeola has mourned the death of veteran Yoruba film actor Taiwo Hassan, widely known as Ogogo. Adeola described the actor as a brother who supported his political cause and worked for the interests of their people. He said Ogogo’s death was a major loss to his family, Ogun State and Nigeria’s creative industry. The senator praised the late actor’s long-standing contributions to filmmaking and advocacy. He also pledged support for the actor’s family as they mourn. Ogogo reportedly died at age 66 after battling stage-four cancer. He was a prominent figure in Yoruba-language cinema for several decades.
