Air Canada Captain Charged After Flying 17 Years Without a Valid Licence
59-year-old Geoffrey Wall, a former Air Canada pilot based in Barrie, Ontario, has been charged with fraud after operating as an airline captain without a valid licence for nearly 17 years. Peel Regional Police allege Wall flew commercial passenger planes from 2009 to 2025 using forged documents. Air Canada removed him from duty when the irregularities were discovered and reported the matter to Transport Canada. Wall joined the airline in 1998 and logged almost 900 domestic and international flights, earning millions in salary. He now faces seven charges, including forgery, fraud, and possession of counterfeit marks. His next court appearance is scheduled for Monday, June 29, 2026.
