Bereaved Sister Alleges Brother-in-Law’s Abuse Led to Late Sibling’s Death — 1 of 3
1 / 3

Angela Onwudiwe learned of her sister Ebelechukwu’s passing only when her body was taken to the mortuary. She says the news came 15 years after Ebelechukwu last saw her family. Angela claims Ebelechukwu endured years of isolation and domestic abuse at the hands of her husband, Obinna Igbojiuba. According to Angela, he forbade visits, blocked her from working despite her microbiology degree, and even controlled her small business earnings. No relative was informed of Ebelechukwu’s illness, Angela adds. She demands answers from Obinna and vows to seek justice so her sister’s spirit can find peace.
