Ajasa Earns Late Super Eagles Call-Up for Russia Friendly

Super Eagles coach Éric Chelle has called up Rostov midfielder Ibraheem Mahfus Ajasa for Nigeria’s international friendly against Russia. Ajasa replaces Bright Osayi-Samuel, who withdrew from the squad. Captain Wilfred Ndidi and Akpe Victory have also pulled out, with John Otomewo and Vince Osuji drafted in as replacements. Nigeria have begun preparations for the match, which will be played at the Nizhny Novgorod Stadium on Tuesday.
