Cristiano Ronaldo’s 2007/08 Manchester United campaign is leading the Ballon d’Or of All Time fan vote with a reported 62% of votes. Lionel Messi’s record-breaking 2012 season is currently second with 13%. Ronaldo scored 42 goals as Manchester United won the Premier League and UEFA Champions League. The season also earned him his first Ballon d’Or at age 23. The fan poll features 10 multiple-time Ballon d’Or winners, including Messi, Ronaldo Nazário, Johan Cruyff, Franz Beckenbauer and Alfredo Di Stéfano. Voting is expected to close on October 27. The result is a fan selection and will not change the official Ballon d’Or record, where Messi has eight awards and Ronaldo has five.
