Paul Pogba Leaves Monaco by Mutual Agreement After Injury-Hit Spell

Paul Pogba has left AS Monaco by mutual agreement, ending his stay at the Ligue 1 club less than a year after he signed a two-year deal in June 2025. The former France midfielder joined Monaco after leaving Juventus and completing an 18-month doping ban. His return to football was repeatedly affected by fitness issues. Pogba made only six competitive appearances, playing a total of 115 minutes, before sustaining another left-thigh injury during pre-season. Monaco said the goals set for his comeback were only partly achieved. The 2018 World Cup winner is now a free agent after his contract, originally due to end in June 2027, was terminated.
