Kehinde University Life: A Freshers’ First Weeks on Campus
In the first episode of my university story, I leave home for campus, relieved to be beyond my parents’ watchful eyes. After a long and exhausting journey, I arrive at the motor park under the hot sun, deal with an unwanted interruption, and finally make it to my lodge. My new room is small and worn, but it is mine. Two weeks into school, I begin adjusting to the unfamiliar freedom of university life. No one checks on me the way they did at home, and I am still deciding whether that freedom is comforting or frightening. After a lecture, I am asked to sweep the hall. While searching for a missing broom, I meet a handsome student who picks it up at the same time. My frustration gets the better of me, but his calm response leaves me surprised. Will this unexpected encounter become the start of a friendship, romance, or more campus drama?
