ICPC Tracks ₦2.7bn Constituency Projects in Anambra and Ebonyi
The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission has begun tracking executive and constituency projects worth more than ₦2.7 billion in Anambra and Ebonyi states. The exercise is being carried out under the Constituency and Executive Projects Tracking Initiative. Inspectors are assessing whether projects meet specifications, offer value for money and serve their intended rural communities. Projects under review include solar-powered boreholes, streetlights and health facilities facilitated by federal lawmakers. The ICPC says contractors responsible for substandard or abandoned projects may be ordered back to site or prosecuted.
