Ajayi and Awoniyi Play as Hull Beat Coventry 1-0; Onyeka Misses Out Injured

Liam Millar scored late as Hull City secured a 1-0 win over Coventry City, moving up to second place in the league table after two matches. Nigeria internationals Semi Ajayi and Taiwo Awoniyi played the full 90 minutes for Hull and Coventry respectively. Frank Onyeka missed the match after picking up a knock. Awoniyi came close for Coventry in the first half, but Hull created the clearer opportunities. Millar made amends for an earlier miss when he finished a counter-attack eight minutes from time after being set up by Mohamed Belloumi.
