La Liga Clubs Monitor Garnacho as He Waits for Aston Villa Breakthrough

Alejandro Garnacho is attracting interest from La Liga clubs after a difficult start to life at Aston Villa. The Argentina international joined Villa from Chelsea on a season-long loan that could become a permanent £43 million transfer if agreed targets are met. Garnacho has played only 31 competitive minutes and is yet to start for Unai Emery’s side. He has also been left unused in Villa’s last two matches, with several attacking players currently ahead of him in the pecking order. Emery says Garnacho must remain patient and keep working in training. The Villa manager believes the winger is progressing, but says strong competition from George Hemmings, Emi Buendia, Ibrahim Mbaye and others has limited his opportunities so far.
