Defence Minister Musa: My Mother’s Akara and Akamu Business Supported Our Family

Minister of Defence Christopher Musa says his mother’s akara and akamu business helped support his family and contributed to his journey in life. Speaking at an entrepreneurship and financial-empowerment workshop for widows and wives of service personnel in Abuja, Musa said he is proud of his mother’s work. He urged Nigerians not to treat petty trading as inferior, stressing that honest labour deserves respect. The workshop was organised by the Ministry of Defence and the small-business development agency to provide participants with business skills and financial support.
