FUOTUOKE Opens Recruitment for Professors, Senior Lecturers and Administrative Officers
The Federal University Otuoke in Bayelsa State has announced vacancies for academic and senior administrative staff. The recruitment was approved by the Governing Council at its meeting on February 16, 2026. Academic vacancies are available at Senior Lecturer, Reader and Professor levels in Water Management, Survey and Geo-Informatics, Climate Change, Marine and Blue Economy Studies, Crop Science and Sustainable Agriculture, Animal Science and Sustainable Livestock Systems, and Social and Public Health Pharmacy. The university is also recruiting a Chief Legal Officer and a Deputy Director of Public Relations. Academic applicants must hold relevant B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. qualifications, while professional applicants must provide valid registration and practising licences where required. Applicants must submit 10 copies of their application and supporting documents to the Registrar within six weeks of the advertisement date. Applications received after 3:00 p.m. on the closing day will not be accepted.
