Igboho Confirms Injured Iru Ekun Operatives Have Recovered After Oyo Forest Ambush

In a recent video message, Yoruba Nation leader Sunday Adeyemo, known as Sunday Igboho, reassured his supporters about his safety. He confirmed that members of his Iru Ekun security team, injured during an ambush in Old Oyo National Park, have fully recovered. He addressed circulating rumours about his well-being and thanked his followers for their concern. He also vowed to continue efforts until those disturbing the peace are driven out. The ambush happened during an operation to track suspected kidnappers and armed criminals in the forest. The team had deployed drones for surveillance before advancing. Gunmen opened fire on the operatives, wounding several, who were promptly taken for treatment. Igboho said the setback will not deter future missions.
