Ajiran Murder Case: Rights Group Defends Call for Independent Investigation Review

According to the group, it has not supported a media trial and maintains that guilt or innocence can only be decided by a competent court. The organisation said citizens can question whether investigations were fair and transparent while respecting the presumption of innocence. It urged the police and relevant oversight bodies to address concerns professionally and conduct any review in line with the law. It also called for an inquiry into leaked investigative materials, while warning that the leak controversy should not overshadow wider concerns about the investigation.
