I Refused to Buy My Mum a New Phone After Getting One for My Brother

I have supported my family financially since my university days. I was happy to help at first, but over time, requests for support started to feel like demands. My younger brother needed a replacement phone for school because his old one was failing. After handling other commitments, including replacing my parents’ pumping machine, I bought him a used iPhone 12. My mum was upset that I bought him a phone before buying one for her. She said she would take his new phone unless I replaced hers. I refused because I cannot afford to buy three phones in one year, including my own replacement. I apologised for the way I spoke to her, but things remain tense. Should I buy her a phone later to restore peace, or maintain this boundary?
