Former Nigerian international Friday Ekpo has urged the Super Falcons to learn quickly from their 3-2 defeat to Malawi as they seek to reach the knockout stage of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco. Nigeria, defending champions, suffered a surprise loss in their opening match on Tuesday. Temwa Chawinga scored in the 73rd minute, while her sister Tabitha Chawinga added a second six minutes later for WAFCON debutants Malawi.
