APC Nasarawa Primaries: Adamu Campaign Alleges State Interference
Former Inspector-General of Police Mohammed Adamu’s campaign team says efforts are underway to alter APC primary results in Nasarawa State. Musa Hussaini, Director-General of Adamu’s campaign, told journalists in Lafia that ward and local council returns reflect genuine support. He accused some state officials of tampering with result sheets. The campaign called on the APC Electoral Committee to uphold the true ward-level outcomes and resist any pressure or intimidation. They argued that fair primaries strengthen democracy within the party. Supporters have been urged to stay calm and law-abiding as collation continues at the state centre in Lafia. Meanwhile, the APC’s state publicity secretary declined to comment on the allegations.
