Obasanjo Urges Adeleke to Sustain Good Governance After Osun Re-election

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has urged Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke to sustain good governance and meet the needs of residents. Obasanjo gave the advice during a surprise congratulatory visit to Adeleke’s residence in Ede after the governor’s re-election. He prayed for Adeleke’s success and urged him to keep delivering democratic dividends to the people. Adeleke thanked Obasanjo for the visit and pledged not to disappoint the people of Osun. INEC declared Adeleke winner of the governorship election with 511,067 votes, ahead of APC candidate Bola Oyebamiji, who received 444,815 votes.
