Bayelsa Police Arrest Suspected Serial Killer Wanted for Ebonyi Murders

The Bayelsa State Police Command has taken into custody a man wanted in Ebonyi State for a series of killings. Police Commissioner Iyamah Daniel Edebor said the suspect led a gang responsible for the deaths of Community Safety Officer Sunday Osule, Councillor Ifeanyi Odah, local figure Peter “Omega” Ogenyi and Traditional Ruler Eze Douglas. Ebonyi’s Crack Squad, which had declared the suspect wanted, has been formally notified. The police added that investigations into the killings are ongoing.
