12 Major Primate Ayodele Prophecies That Failed to Materialize

12 Major Primate Ayodele Prophecies That Failed to Materialize — 1 of 2
1 / 2

A recent government fact-check pulled together a list of 12 high-profile predictions by Primate Ayodele that never came to pass. These include his 2015 forecast of Jonathan’s victory and several gubernatorial outcomes in Kaduna, Yobe, Gombe, Benue and Lagos states that all went to the APC instead. Other missed prophecies involved security warnings – a predicted Boko Haram bombing in the South-West never happened – and political declarations, such as the claim that President Buhari’s office was permanently vacant during his medical leave. More recently, his predictions for the 2023 and 2024 elections also fell flat, including a forecast that Kamala Harris would win the U.S. presidency and that Atiku Abubakar would defeat Bola Tinubu. These repeated errors raise questions about the reliability of public prophecies.

Which failed prophecy from Primate Ayodele's list surprised you the most, and why does it matter for trust in spiritual leaders?

Definitely, when high-profile prophecies don't come true it undermines faith in spiritual guides and calls for sober reassessment of their track record.

It's interesting that the fact-check only focused on electoral predictions, even though other prophecies might be equally questionable.

I'm not convinced every missed forecast undermines his credibility; sometimes predictions hinge on factors outside anyone's control.

Before accepting any prophecy, it helps to review its exact wording and evidence to judge its reliability objectively.
