‘You’re Overwhelmed, Nigeria Is Not Lagos’ – Dino Melaye Slams Tinubu

Former Kogi West senator Dino Melaye has described President Bola Tinubu as overwhelmed and unprepared to lead Nigeria. Speaking in Abuja at a legacy colloquium for Raymond Dokpesi, he said the president’s recent Democracy Day address failed to acknowledge the daily struggles of ordinary citizens. Melaye argued that any leader who fails in security and welfare is a failed president. He pointed to the abduction and killing of three serving generals in the past three years as evidence of a security crisis. He insisted that a government unable to protect its people should resign honourably.
