Eight Christian Perspectives on the Gifts of Healing
Good day, everyone. I would like to share a few points about the gifts of healing from a Christian perspective. The Bible refers to “gifts of healings” in the plural, which may suggest that there are different manifestations of healing grace. A person who ministers healing should remain humble and recognise that the gift belongs to the Holy Spirit, not to them personally. Having this gift does not mean the minister will never face illness. Healing also involves faith in God, both from the person ministering and the person seeking healing. Christians without a special healing gift may still pray for and see people healed, although the results may differ. The gift requires courage, faith and a godly life. As Jesus showed when He healed the sick, healing ministry should point people back to God rather than become a reason for personal pride.
