2027 Elections: How Can Nigerians Prevent Rigging?

I believe President Tinubu would struggle to win re-election in a free and fair contest because many Nigerians are unhappy with his administration. But public anger and campaigns may achieve little if electoral malpractice is not prevented. For me, stopping rigging should be a major priority before arguments over who should be elected. Nigeria cannot consistently produce better leaders if unpopular leaders can manipulate elections and remain in power. What practical steps can citizens, political parties, election observers and institutions take to prevent rigging ahead of 2027?
