Five Prominent Obidient Figures Missing From NDC’s 2027 Campaign Council
The Nigeria Democratic Congress has released its 2027 presidential campaign council, listing Peter Obi, Seriake Dickson and other party leaders across its caucus, advisory council, directorates and state coordinators. However, several prominent supporters of the Obidient movement were not included in the published list. Their absence has attracted attention because of their visible roles in campaign activism, grassroots organising and online mobilisation for Obi. Those omitted include Moses Paul, popularly known as Dr. Mo; activist Aisha Yesufu; Precious Oruche, also known as Mama Pee; digital activist Peter Akah, known as Randy Peterz; and Isaac Fayose. Dr. Mo’s omission is particularly notable following his previous role in the AMAC chairmanship election, where he was unable to secure sufficient electoral support.
