Accord Chairman Imumolen Raises Safety Concerns, Appeals to Adeleke for Restraint

Accord Party National Chairman, Prof. Chris Imumolen, has appealed to Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke to caution his supporters and associates against actions that could threaten his safety or that of his family. Imumolen said he does not seek a confrontation with the governor or any political actor in Osun State. He said his activities in the state are focused on building the Accord Party and promoting democratic values. He urged political leaders and supporters to resolve disagreements through dialogue, lawful democratic processes and respect for human life. He also asked security agencies to conduct an independent investigation if any harm comes to him, his family or close associates, while stressing that he was not directly accusing anyone.
