Operatives of the State Criminal Investigation Department in Awka have arrested 35-year-old Chukwudalu Ezeani over the disappearance of his 52-year-old cousin, Chinedu Ezeani. Police say the suspect allegedly killed the victim at his home in Afube Village, Amichi, on August 1, 2025. He buried the body in a shallow grave on his property, concealing the crime for eight months. Following credible intelligence, detectives reopened the missing person case. The suspect confessed and led officers to the burial site, where the remains were exhumed and sent for forensic examination.
