Troops of the 247 Reconnaissance Battalion, working with Keystone operatives and local hunters, arrested a 43-year-old man during a cordon-and-search operation in Mubi South Local Government Area of Adamawa State. The operation was carried out on August 9 in the Girpata and Wurobululude areas. The suspect was arrested in Girpata and is being held while authorities investigate his alleged links to terrorist elements. Security forces say the operation is part of ongoing efforts to identify and disrupt terrorist support networks in North-East communities.
