Abiola Makinde, Akingbaso Bag Ondo Best Lawmakers Awards.
The Commander of Amotekun Corps, Chief Adetunji Adeleye, a member of House of Representatives from Ondo West/East federal constituency, Abiola Makinde are among prominent Nigerians that will receive the Nigeria Union of Journalists award on Nov 26, 2021. Others billed for the award are: A member of the Ondo State House of Assembly from Idanre constituency, Hon. Festus Akingbaso, Pastor Foluso Ajibobola and an Educationist, Chief (Mrs) Akinseloyin Adeola Anne. HON ABIOLA MAKINDE is adjudged ONDO STATE FEDERAL LAWMAKER OF THE YEAR (2021), while HON FESTUS AKINGBASO will be honoured as ONDO STATE LAWMAKER OF THE YEAR (2021) CHIEF (MRS) AKINSELOYIN ADEOLA ANNE, will pick “NUJ AMAZON IN EDUCATION AND HUMAN DEVELOPMENT AWARD” and AKOGUN ADETUNJI ADELEYE will bag AWARD OF EXCELLENCE AS ONDO STATE SECURITY CHIEF OF THE YEAR (2021). In a statement, the Union disclosed that the event is scheduled to hold today at the NUJ Press Centre in Akure by 4:00pm.
