Jhpiego and MESHI Expand Reproductive Health Awareness in Three Anambra LGAs
Jhpiego and the Malaria Eradication and Safe Health Initiative of Nigeria (MESHI) are expanding sexual and reproductive health awareness across 15 communities and health facilities in Aguata, Idemili South and Ogbaru LGAs of Anambra State. The programme will provide information, counselling, screening and referrals on family planning, sexually transmitted infections, HPV vaccination to prevent cervical cancer, and gender-based violence prevention. The partners said adolescents and young people will be encouraged to seek accurate health information and access services without fear of stigma or discrimination. Residents can visit participating primary health centres for available support.
