How I Outwitted and ‘Pepper-Souped’ the Noisy Cat in My Compound

Hello Naijaworlders, I want to share how I finally dealt with a cat that’s been terrorizing our compound at night. One hot evening, I went outside for a quick shower and felt something dash past the boys’ quarters. I knew it was one of those uncultured cats making irritating moans behind our fence. I tip-toed back to my room, grabbed my machete and a torchlight, then waited in the dark. As soon as I caught the cat’s glowing eyes in the beam, I knew it was now or never. I tapped the light to blur its vision and tricked it into thinking I was tired. When it tried to escape, I struck hard with my machete. It took three powerful hits before it finally lay still. That night, peace returned to our compound.
