Kim Kardashian Receives €1 Compensation in Paris Robbery Case
A Paris court has awarded Kim Kardashian symbolic compensation of €1 over the armed robbery she suffered in the French capital during Paris Fashion Week in 2016. Eight people were found guilty last year for their roles in the jewellery heist. Kardashian said the experience remained deeply traumatic and described the ruling as recognition and accountability rather than a matter of money. The court also awarded compensation to Kardashian’s stylist, Simone Harouche, who was present during the robbery. A hotel receptionist who said he was traumatised by the incident received €109,516, while the hotel was awarded €50,000.
