I believe Nigeria’s elections contribute to the spiritual problems facing the country. From local government contests to presidential races, some aspirants may seek spiritual powers and make harmful covenants in pursuit of office. I fear the consequences can show up in communities through crime, corruption, high prices, underdevelopment and disasters. As another election cycle approaches, I pray that God stops every evil trend and brings peace, safety and progress to Nigeria.
