Okpebholo Swears In Osifo as Edo Education Commissioner, Demands Results

Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo has sworn in Dr. Washington Osifo as Commissioner for Education, following his screening and confirmation by the Edo State House of Assembly. Osifo previously held the same position before stepping down to pursue a political ambition. He replaces Dr. Paddy Iyamu, who resigned to seek election to the House of Representatives. The governor asked Osifo to deliver measurable improvements across primary, secondary and tertiary education. Osifo pledged to justify the appointment through effective leadership and service. Mr. Aghedo Oscar Onaiwu was also sworn in as a member of the Edo State Local Government Service Commission.
