Governor Lawal Mourns Death of Sarkin Zamfaran Zurmi, Alhaji Bello Sulaiman
Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal has mourned the death of the Sarkin Zamfaran Zurmi, Alhaji Bello Sulaiman, who died on Monday at the Federal Medical Centre in Gusau. The governor described the traditional ruler as a respected pillar of the Zurmi Emirate whose counsel, commitment to peace and service to his people contributed to community development and unity in Zamfara State. Lawal extended condolences to the monarch’s family, the Zurmi Emirate Council and residents of the emirate. He prayed for Allah’s mercy upon the late ruler and urged residents to remain peaceful as burial arrangements are announced in line with Islamic tradition.
