Have Men Lowered Their Standards in Modern Relationships?

I have noticed that some women now set demanding expectations in relationships while offering little in return. In my view, this is possible partly because many men accept unequal effort without questioning it. I do not think this happened because women suddenly became more powerful. I think too many men became overly eager for attention and approval, abandoning self-control and personal boundaries in the process. When a man is driven mainly by desire, he may stop asking whether a relationship meets his own standards. He begins lowering the bar just to be accepted. Can men rebuild stronger boundaries and expectations, or has this imbalance become normal?
