Pursuing Holiness: Can Christians Remain Pure in a Corrupt World?

I wonder if true holiness is possible today. Can a believer go months or years without sinning? I believe the answer is yes. Holiness may seem out of reach because many of us don’t hunger for righteousness. We pray with far less passion than we invest in visas, jobs or relationships. If we cried out to God with that same desperation, He would surely grant us grace. God honors our earnest pursuit of purity. As Matthew 5:6 says, “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.” Let us pray persistently and passionately for holiness.
