Biblical Israel began with Jacob’s covenant with YHVH. It was a faith nation under Torah law. The modern State of Israel, founded in 1948, is a secular democracy shaped by international politics. I will show two key points: First, 1948 Israel is not ancient Israel. Second, today’s true Israel is found in Christ by faith.
