Hasselbaink: Caicedo’s Return Alone Will Not Fix Chelsea’s Defensive Problems

Former Chelsea striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink believes Moisés Caicedo’s return from injury would strengthen Chelsea, but he says the midfielder cannot solve the team’s defensive problems on his own. Caicedo has had a disrupted start to the season because of recurring calf issues and has made only a brief appearance against Brighton. Chelsea have conceded 12 goals in their opening Premier League matches during his absence. Hasselbaink said a fully fit Caicedo and Reece James would improve the side, but stressed that defending is a collective responsibility across the entire team.
