Bandits recently ambushed members of Sunday Igboho’s Irun Ekun security outfit in the Oyo forest. Several operatives sustained injuries during the ensuing gun battle. Some bullets failed to penetrate their armour. Why did Igboho and his team enter the forest? Was it to trade jokes with the bandits? Families are still searching for missing children in the forest. Instead of praising his bold move, people are tribalising and politicising the whole incident. Are Igboho’s own children among those missing? Why are we so heartless?
