Ayra Starr has started an 11-day countdown to her third studio album, Starr Girl, due for release on 14 August 2026. The singer announced the project with a teaser video and the caption, “starrgirl is comingggg. 11 days! are you ready?” The teaser shows her in a blue dress walking through a city, climbing a fire escape and sitting atop a building as stars form the album title in the night sky. It also appears to preview an unreleased song. Starr Girl follows her June single “Tornado” featuring Fola. The announcement comes as Ayra Starr continues to recover from a recent surgery and prepares to return to public activities.
