Two police operatives were killed after a Lexus car struck their motorcycle in Oogi town, Osun State. The officers, identified as Kehinde and Tobi Adedina, were on patrol when the driver fled the scene and abandoned the vehicle. The state police command has secured the Lexus and the motorcycle for forensic examination. A manhunt is underway to arrest the suspect responsible for the crash. One of the deceased officers has been laid to rest according to Islamic rites. Investigations into the circumstances of the accident continue.
