UK Court Jails Goodness Sokoh for 21 Years Over Grooming and Sexual Offences Against Girls
A UK court has sentenced Goodness Sokoh, from Leighton Buzzard in Bedfordshire, to 21 years in prison for grooming and sexually abusing four teenage girls. The court heard that Sokoh contacted the girls on Snapchat between October and December 2025, offering free vapes and cannabis before arranging meetings in Buckinghamshire. He was convicted of rape, sexual assault, sexual assault by penetration, causing a child to watch a sexual act, and inciting a child into sexual activity. Judge Catherine Tulk said the offences showed clear grooming and exploitation of the girls’ age and vulnerability. Victim impact statements described severe emotional trauma, including self-harm, anxiety, nightmares, insomnia and difficulties attending school. Sokoh must serve two-thirds of his sentence before becoming eligible for parole. He will remain on the sex offenders register and is subject to a lifetime restraining order protecting the four victims. Thames Valley Police said it remains open to information about possible additional victims.
