Kwara Governor Announces ₦180m Support for Ansarul Islam, MKU and Student Scholarships
Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has announced ₦180 million in support for the Ansarul Islam Society, Muhammed Kamaldeen University in Ilorin, and 30 students. At the society’s centenary celebration, the governor announced ₦50 million for Ansarul Islam, ₦50 million from the AbdulRazaq family, and ₦50 million from the state government for Muhammed Kamaldeen University. He also directed the university to select 30 deserving students for ₦1 million scholarships each. The funding is intended to support Islamic education, research and students’ academic needs.
