Emmanuel Ben, Olaitan Lamidi Make 1xCup 2026 Matchweek 5 Team of the Week
Kiira FA striker Emmanuel Ben and Collins Edwin SC winger Olaitan Lamidi have been named in the 1xCup 2026 Matchweek 5 Team of the Week after standout performances in the grassroots competition. Ben earned his place after scoring a hat-trick in Kiira FA’s 3-0 win over Adhoc FA, helping his side advance from the Ikorodu zone. Lamidi starred as Collins Edwin SC defeated FC Bethel Sporting 2-0, scoring the opener and winning the man-of-the-match award. Chinedu Emmanuel was selected as goalkeeper, while Samson Omolehin, Khalifa Subair, Chibuzor Augustine and Hafiz Odunayo made up the defence. Stephen Samuel, Lamidi and Habeeb Olanrewaju were named in midfield, with Agboluaje Fawaz and Joseph Panshok joining Ben in attack. Kiira FA coach Saheed Olawale Camara was named Coach of the Week as the qualifying campaign continues.
