Rooney Blames Manchester United Players for Carrick’s Struggles

Wayne Rooney says Manchester United’s players must take responsibility for the team’s poor run instead of placing the blame solely on manager Michael Carrick. He questioned the squad’s work rate, intensity and commitment on the pitch. Rooney said some players may care, but the team’s lack of fight is preventing anyone from driving a turnaround at Old Trafford.
