Nollywood stars and other celebrities stepped out in wedding-inspired outfits for the Lagos premiere of Folagade Banks’ film, A Mama Deola Wedding Story. Guests included Femi Adebayo, Toyin Abraham, Osas Ighodalo, Hilda Baci, Lateef Adedimeji, Mo Bimpe, Mercy Aigbe, Kate Henshaw, Phyna and Imisi. The wedding-themed red carpet featured elegant bridal gowns, sharp suits and coordinated couple looks, prompting a debate over who was best dressed. The film is the first instalment of Folagade Banks’ Mama Deola franchise. Directed by Femi Adebayo, it stars Shaffy Bello, Toyin Abraham, Bukky Wright, Akin Lewis, Erica Nlewedim, Omowunmi Dada, Rotimi Salami and Mama Rainbow. Its major wedding scene reportedly involved more than 600 cast members and extras, filmed over about 20 hours.
