A Day of Good Tidings: Share the Easter Message
2 Kings 7:3–16 shows how four lepers took a risk and discovered an enemy camp left full of food, silver, and gold. Instead of keeping their discovery to themselves, they ran to tell the king’s household, and the famine in Samaria ended the next day. Today is our own day of good tidings. Jesus died and rose again to bring in a new covenant of grace. Jeremiah 31:31 promised this covenant, and Christ’s resurrection confirms it. We are called to proclaim His victory over sin. Beloved, God has freed you from bondage and lifted your burdens. One way to honor Him is by sharing the gospel. Don’t keep the good news of Christ’s redemption to yourself.
