When God Acts Suddenly After a Long Wait

The disciples waited and prayed before the Holy Spirit came at Pentecost. Acts 2:2 describes the moment: “Suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind.” Joseph, Moses and David also faced long seasons of waiting before their circumstances changed. Delay does not always mean God is absent. While you wait, keep praying and trusting that things may be happening behind the scenes. Do not give up just before your breakthrough. Father, I have waited long, but I will not quit now. I believe my suddenly is near. Let doors open and favour come. Turn my long waiting into a testimony, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
