Police in Guangzhou, China, have arrested a 35-year-old man after several women were injured in a knife attack near a hotpot restaurant at Guangzhou University Town. The incident happened on Xiaoguwei Street in Panyu District at about 5:20pm on September 14. Witnesses said the suspect appeared to target pedestrians at random. Police identified the suspect only as Li. The injured victims were taken to hospital, and authorities said none was in life-threatening condition. An investigation is ongoing.
