Sporting Lagos Coach Calls for Better Finishing After Goalless Ikorodu City Derby

Sporting Lagos coach Jeffery Buter says his team must become more clinical after their goalless NPFL draw with Ikorodu City at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Onikan. Buter said Sporting Lagos created chances but failed to convert them. He added that the team has been working on finishing in training and must continue improving in front of goal. The coach said Ikorodu City pressed aggressively early in the match, prompting Sporting Lagos to use more long balls to exploit spaces behind their defence. Despite praising their opponents' defensive effort, Buter maintained that Sporting Lagos were the better side and should have won.
